Who We Are

Brainferno was formed by an alliance of experienced film industry professionals from multiple disciplines to meet this challenge with an innovative suite of tools and solutions catered to the needs of a rapidly changing playback world.

Ongoing advances in video technologies have ushered in a new era where game engines, mobile devices, LED walls and now AI have set the standard for in-camera visual effects. Neither outdated technologies (e.g. Flash) nor inadequate presentation programs (e.g. PowerPoint) can sufficiently meet the complex needs of modern on-set displays in productions.

Founder / CEO / Chief Engineer

Vincent has developed software for computer and video playback for over 25 years. He pioneered the use of real-time game engine technology for in-camera effects on feature films, implementing these techniques several years before their widespread adoption. Over 70 major productions have utilized technology and software developed by Vincent for on-set video playback and visual effects and he was awarded the Warner Bros. IDEA Award for Innovation twice in recognition for his groundbreaking methods.

Matt has over 60 credits as a playback supervisor on major television and film productions including Minority Report, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Matt brings a wealth of international on-set experience and technical knowledge to Brainferno. His real-world expertise and strong connection-building skills ensures that our technolgies meet the needs of productions in practical, user-friendly ways. Matt has spent a lifetime fostering extensive relationships within the entertainment community and his dedication to meeting every client's needs is second to none.
